Ministry to Young Adults
Young Adults Ministry at IHM strives to lead young adults into an encounter with Jesus and to live an authentic Christian life. The members come together for prayer, sharing, and fellowship. Rooted in parish life and the sacraments, they continue to seek new and courageous ways to spread the Gospel message.
Purpose:
- To bring together young adults between the ages of post-high school through age 30 who have a common purpose in seeking a redemptive relationship with God.
- To study the Word of God for application to everyday living.
- To come together in faith, fun and fellowship.
- Continue to believe that the message of Jesus Christ is the greatest revolutionary message of all time.
Activities:
Young adults work to become involved with all members and organizations of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church community. They participate in various activities such as the Breakfast Ministry, the Annual Parish Festival, Fiesta Parking, and any other fundraisers needed to help the church.
They also volunteer with other organizations that support those who are less fortunate, such as Hope for Haven, Goodwill, and the San Antonio Food Bank.
