The mission of the Ushers Ministry at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church is to provide general care of our worship space and to assist all people in receiving the Lord. Ushers are the visible ministers who provide personal service and courtesies to parishioners before, during, and after Mass. This includes welcoming, seating, helping to make people with special needs comfortable, collecting the gifts of our community, handing out our music programs and bulletins, providing any other assistance requested by the Pastor and Parish staff, and offering any assistance needed by parishioners. Through effective execution of the Usher's duties, you will help enhance your own and others' experience of the Liturgy.
Ushers also answer questions, seat late arrivals, point out restrooms, and help with emergencies. As the custodians of the church, Ushers straighten, organize, and secure the church, insuring that everything is in order upon leaving the facility. Being an Usher is not simply a job, but a gift of service.

La misión del Ministerio de Ujieres en Inmaculado Corazón de María consiste en proveer cuidado general a nuestro espacio de adoración y asistir también a las personas recibiendo a nuestro Señor. Los Ujieres son ministros visibles quienes proveen un servicio cortés y personal antes, durante y después de la Misa. Esto incluye dar la bienvenida, ayudar en el acomodo de las personas, sobre todo aquellos con necesidades especiales para que se sientan cómodos, colectando las ofrendas de nuestra comunidad, distribuyendo programas de música y boletines, asistiendo al Párroco y su equipo con otros servicios necesarios. A través de este ministerio, los Ujieres ayudan a que la experiencia de la Liturgia sea más rica para ellos mismos y para los parroquianos.
Los Ujieres también responden preguntas, acomodan a los feligreses, indican dónde están los baños y ayudan cuando haya emergencias. Como custodios de la Iglesia, los Ujieres ayudan con el acomodo de los libros y aseguran que la Iglesia esté en buen orden antes que dejen la Iglesia. Ser Ujier no es tan solo un trabajo, pero ante todo es un don de servicio.
