A presence in every parish stemmed from our belief that local councils can achieve great things for the church. In addition to creating an organization where Catholic men could grow in their faith and help each other in times of need, parishes can prosper through service by Knights in the areas of faith, community, family, youth, and fellowship.

The members of a Knights of Columbus Council are a group of men who will become the pastor’s “go-to-guys” for the parish's needs. We are not a ministry, but rather, dedicated laymen that he can depend on.

Charity has been the first principle of the Knights of Columbus. Our charitable projects encompass an almost infinite variety of local and national projects, from Habitat for Humanity to Food for Families and Coats for Kids.
